3. Quotations

• All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation
• Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
• Quotations are based on the information provided and site inspection at the time
• We reserve the right to revise quotations if additional work is discovered or circumstances change
• Final costs will be confirmed before any additional work is undertaken

4. Acceptance and Contract Formation

• A contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing (email or signed document)
• Acceptance of a quotation constitutes agreement to these Terms
• We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion

5. Payment Terms

• Payment terms will be specified in your quotation
• Typically, a deposit may be required before work commences
• Final payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
• We accept payment by bank transfer, cheque, or cash
• Late payments may incur interest charges at 8% above the Bank of England base rate

6. Work Execution

• We will carry out all work with reasonable skill and care
• Work will be performed by CITB qualified craftsmen
• We will endeavour to complete work within agreed timeframes, but delays may occur due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances
• Access to the property and necessary facilities (e.g., electricity, water) must be provided
• You are responsible for removing or protecting any valuable items in the work area

7. Materials

• Unless otherwise agreed, we will supply all materials
• Materials will be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose
• We reserve the right to substitute specified materials with equivalent alternatives if necessary
• Any customer-supplied materials must be provided on time and in suitable condition

8. Changes to Work

• Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be confirmed in writing
• Additional work will be charged at our standard rates
• We will provide a revised quotation for significant changes before proceeding

9. Cancellation

• You may cancel the contract within 14 days of acceptance (cooling-off period) if work has not commenced
• If work has commenced, you may still cancel but will be charged for work completed and materials purchased
• Cancellations must be made in writing
• Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered

10. Warranty and Guarantees

• We provide a customer satisfaction guarantee on our workmanship
• Specific warranty periods will be detailed in your quotation
• Manufacturer warranties apply to materials and products supplied
• Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party work
• To claim under warranty, contact us in writing with details and photographs

11. Liability and Insurance

• We carry full public liability insurance
• We are not liable for pre-existing defects unless specifically agreed in writing
• Our liability is limited to the value of the contract
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
• Claims must be made within a reasonable time of discovering the issue

12. Health and Safety

13. Site Cleanliness

• We will keep the work area as clean and tidy as reasonably possible
• All waste materials will be removed upon completion
• The site will be left in a safe condition
